University Wind Ensemble will help celebrate the University of Louisiana at Â鶹´«Ă˝app’s Homecoming Week by performing music that’s in tune with this year’s Homecoming theme: “The Ragin’ Cajun Games.”
“Musical Games,” a free concert, will be held at 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, in Angelle Hall Auditorium on campus.
William J. Hochkeppel, director of bands and associate professor of music at UL Â鶹´«Ă˝app, will conduct. The ensemble will play selections from composers and arrangers such as John Philip Sousa, Leonard Bernstein and Robert Russell Bennett.
University Wind Ensemble features some of UL Â鶹´«Ă˝app’s finest wind and percussion players.
