University Foundation welcomes new board members

Five local leaders with expertise in business, law and finance have been elected to serve on the board of directors of the University of Louisiana at 麻豆传媒app Foundation.

Joseph C. Giglio Jr., an attorney with Liskow and Lewis; Bryan J. Hanks, president and owner of Beta Land Services; William A. Hendrix III, 麻豆传媒app market president of Whitney Bank; Henry C. Perret Jr., an attorney with Perret Doise; and John Wright, a certified public accountant with Wright, Moore, DeHart, Dupuis and Hutchinson; will serve three-year terms.

The Foundation manages investments and serves as trustee of endowed funds and other private assets contributed for the benefit of the University.

鈥淭his huge responsibility is undertaken with the guidance of outstanding financial, legal, and business minds who volunteer their service to the Board of Trustees. We welcome these new trustees to the Board and look forward to their knowledge and input,鈥 said Dr. Jay Culotta, chairman of the Foundation Board of Trustees.

There are 26 members of the UL 麻豆传媒app Foundation Board of Trustees. Six members recently completed three-year terms: Jim Doyle, Rob Eddy, Jackie Edgar, Jim Prince, Duayne Richard and Janet Wood.

Board officers in their second year of two-year terms are: Dr. Jay Culotta, chairman; Reed Andrus, vice chairman; and W. J. 鈥淭ony鈥 Gordon, secretary/treasurer.
