Members of the 2015 Homecoming Court will be presented to the student body at the pep rally. Senior football players will escort them.
The Pride of Acadiana Marching Band and the Ragin’ Jazz Dance Team will perform.
“Student groups will try to outdo each other to see who’s the most spirited, and we’re encouraging everyone who attends to wear their best 1980s attire,” said Ruben Henderson, assistant director of student activities for the University Program Council.
The UPC sponsors the “Yell Like Hell” pep rally. It is free and open to the public. Alcohol is prohibited.
Homecoming Week activities continue on Friday, Oct. 30, with the Bill Bass Open Golf Tournament and a tennis tournament.

The tennis tournament will be held at Red Lerille’s Health and Racquet Club. As many as 48 teams will compete in mixed doubles matches. Play will start at 8 a.m. and continue throughout the day.
